Pest Inspections Newcastle & Lake Macquarie
Approximately 50 percent of older properties in Australia have had a degree of termite activity at some point, so don’t take the risk of turning a blind eye.
Instead, make a smart investment and book a timber pest inspection for your property. Termites generally avoid open air and bright conditions, meaning their colonies are hidden underground or within wooden structures. That’s why it’s important to hire a trained professional who knows exactly where to look for these harmful pests.
Our fully qualified pest inspectors, Steve and Murray, have over 30 years experience in all facets of termite detection and treatment. The timber pest inspection and report are also carried out in accordance with AS 4349.3-2010, so you’ll receive the most thorough assessment available.
Our expert pest inspectors will carefully examine all accessible areas of your property, including the exterior, interior, roof cavity, subfloor and surrounding trees, to detect possible termite activity and any previous damage. The inspection will also reveal any presence of wood borer and timber decay.
Thermal imaging is available upon request, but we don’t usually recommend the use of thermal cameras, as they’ll only detect an active termite hotspot. Previous pest damage may be hidden and undetectable due to the absence of heat signals from live termites, so nothing beats full access and rigorous, hands-on examination of all areas.
We are able to offer timber pest treatment if any active termites are discovered, meaning you’ll have start-to-finish service from a pest specialist who really knows your property. Our inspector will also give you detailed advice on pest damage, implications and treatment plans if previous pest activity has been detected.
